KFU provides training of oil workers of Sakhalin
47 managers and specialists of Rosneft, Tatneft , Surgutneftegas , Sakhalin Energy Investment Company., TNG-Group, SKB Vysota companies ,Siberian Research Institute of Geology, Geophysics and Minerals and Almetyevsk State Petroleum Institute were trained in the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing of IGPT of KFU in the past week.
“I would like to note that the geography of the course participants of the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing of IGPT of KFU is expanding and has spread as far as Kamchatka and Sakhalin.! We are developing both international cooperation and interaction with companies throughout Russia and offer the specialists both distance (including individual trajectories) and on-site training programs. Some applicants learn about us through the free video lectures delivered on CATQMM You Tube channel that is rapidly gaining popularity with industry experts, ”said Ildus Chukmarov, Director of the Center.
In Almetyevsk, a group of 23 TATNEFT employees improved their skills on the program “Actual issues of the organization and conduct of geodetic, surveying, land survey works and the creation of a modern geodetic infrastructure of oil and gas fields”. In addition, they were delivered online lectures by the representatives of the Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Atomic Supervision, well-experienced experts in the field of state property management and heads of surveying services of Russian oil and gas companies The lectures were held in the IGPT. The program included topical issues of the activities of surveying services and improving geodynamic safety during the exploitation of hydrocarbon deposits, issues of improving the regulatory basis of surveying, modern technical and software solutions from Trimble (USA), the world leader in manufacture of GPS equipment and cartography.
The outcome of the courses was a round table held with the participation of Tatneft, Associate Professor of the Department of Astronomy and Space Geodesy of the Institute of Physics Penat Zagretdinov and Trimble official representatives Mikhail Karavanov and Rustam Ibragimov.
A group of employees of the Tyumen branch of SurgutNIPIneft completed advanced training program on “Geological Modeling” and noted the high level of teaching and services. The course included some theory on the geological modeling and many practical applications.
Also, in the IGPT, training on the ‘Drilling Fluids” program was completed implemented jointly with the Center’s partner, Vladimir Kuznetsov, a well- experienced expert from Ufa.
In addition, 11 participants arrived at Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing of IGPT to take up professional retraining courses. Five of them have already successfully passed their exams.
